Hi, im having issues with stutteryplayback. My 4k playback resolution is on full, and playback quality is on high but im still getting stuttery playback even when the timeline is rendered "green". its 4k, H.264 log & s-cine tone footage from a sony a7s3. It has the same issue even with effects and adujustment layer off. I'm not sure if its software or a hardware issue. Please help

I've attached and linked footage of the stuttering.

Hey all!

I've manage to fix it! It has to do with the audio latency. Settings was at 50ms, I changed it to 30ms and it got a lot worse so I figured I would to the other way and changed it to 60ms which works!

Thank you all for your help!

Hi there!

Sorry about the trouble. Could you check if there's a GPU update available? Also, what happens when you switch to" Software Only"? https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-discussions/faq-how-to-change-the-video-renderer-in-prem...

Let us know.

Thanks,

Kartika

hey Kartika,

gpu  update is at its latest version. Also, no change in stuttering playback when switched to software only.
