Summing individual clip duration in a whole track

Hi there!!!

an unusual request from a client: he ask to know the sum of each individual clip in a specific premiere video track. This kind of question drives me crazy... from the info panel I can find each individual length, but I've got to perform the sum by hand! Otherwise, if I select the first clip +shift / last clip, I should only find the whole length including the blanks... that's not the result I would find. Is there a way in Premiere Pro 22 to perform this task automatically? Thank you so much in advance!

There is nothing in Premiere that will do this automatically, you have to do it by hand

If you select clips in the timeline, you can read the total length of those clips in the info panel.

The blanks you have to add manually.

In and outpoint over the timeline will give a duration.

So not A+B+C+D, but instead a running sum after each clip?

A+B=

(A+B)+C=

((A+B)+C)+D=

Like that??

Good grief! Clients these days! 😄

Wow is that what running sum means.

I would ditch the client. 😉
