Hello I am working with a client on Premiere Pro productions. I work on a Windows and my client works on a Mac, we are working on a productions project using a dropbox account synced with both our drives, everything is working great but my client recently brought an issue saying that the sound effects I had added were not synced to the movements, although at my side that didn't seem like how it is going, whole working on the project he also mentioned that some of the dialogues are starting soon or cutting in between which was not happening on the timeline at my side. Another issue is that I have used some Film Impact transitions and effects and some legacy effects, but on the client's side the project is giving an error of missing plugins, {Video Transition missing: FI: Text AnimatorVideo Transition missing: Paint SplatterVideo Transition missing: Random BlocksVideo Filter missing: FI: Text AnimatorVideo Filter missing: Change to Color}
Although as far as I know, these are all native effects, even film impact is now a part of Premiere Pro as of the latest working update.
Can anyone tell me what's the issue here and how it should be tackled?
System specs: CPU (Ryzen 9 7900x), GPU (RTX 3090) + RAM (DDR5 32GB) // Software specs: Adobe Premiere Pro v25.5. // Footage specs : mp4, 3840x2160 synced on a shared dropbox account that the client provided me. I don't know of the client's system or specs only that it is a Mac and most probably the latest version.
Hi,
Make sure of the following:
1. Use the same Premiere Pro version on both computers (Windows & Mac).
2. Install the same plugins — especially Film Impact transitions — on both systems.
3. Replace missing or obsolete effects with current native effects if possible.
4. Make sure Dropbox is fully synced before opening the project.
5. Clear and rebuild media cache on both computers.
6. Check audio sample rate (48 kHz) and playback settings to fix sync issues.
7. Export a short reference video so your cl
@Taha_Choudary it sounds like the other person is reporting audio-video sync issues? That won't be the fault of the production, it'll be the result of their computer setup. Are they listening on Bluetooth headphones, or do they have some other hardware device for audio or video playback? Those could introduce delays that you wouldn't see on your system. They can check in Preferences > Audio Hardware and Preferences > Playback to see what's going on.

8. If the problem continues, share the project using “Collect Files and Copy to New Location” instead of syncing via Dropbox.

Regarding missing Film Impact effects, those were added in Premiere Pro 25.5 and so they are likely on an earlier verision (25.0-25.4). The best thing would be if they upgrade to 25.5, but if that's not possible the Film Impact installer is now available for free to install the same plugins on older versions of Premiere Pro, and then those warning should go away: https://www.filmimpact.com/resources/download
