Target Bitrate slider issue

This is a minor thing but still an annoyance:

In all previous versions of Premiere Pro I was able to type in a specific bit rate and lock it in.  Starting with 22.6.2 (Build 2) when I do this it rounds it up to the nearest integer.  This is a problem because I need to both maximize quality and keep the file size below a specific number so that our video archive will accept it.

When using the slider it allows bit rates between integers; this only happens when I type in the number, but with the slider I can't choose a specific number.

Thanks,
Benjamin Rotskoff

This problem still exists in v2023.

See this older thread:

Introduced in 22.6.2. At least 2 bug reports, but none with more than 4 votes. I confirm it is not working in 23.0.0. Works, as before, in Media Encoder. I had not checked the Beta for some time. It is working CORRECTLY in Beta 23.1.0 Build 57.

You are the second on reporting this issue.

Might be a bug in 2022.6.2.

Might want to use AME for export instead.
