Third Party Filter Effect into FCP XML or ExtendScript

Community Beginner ,

Hi,

I need to be able to export third party effect metadata from a Premiere Pro sequence. When I do an FCP XML export,

all the metadata about the Lumetri effect is present in the XML, but none about third party effects.

How can I get the metadata about my own effect written with the AE and Premiere Pro SDKs into the FCP XML?

Alternatively, how can I can get said metadata using ExtendScript in Premiere Pro, and would I also be able to edit that

data and write it back into Premiere?

Thanks

You're saying 'metadata', but from the context it appears you're talking about parameters, correct?

Specifically, what (meta)data are you hoping to access?

Hi,

Yes I mean parameters mainly, but also any other information that I might need for manipulation of those parameters.

I want to be able to programmatically apply filter effects to clips in the active sequences... programmatically manipulate

the parameters of those effects, and also programmatically remove instances of the effect.

Ideally I would be able to do this from within an ExtendScript, but if the parameters for my effect were to be exported and imported via an FCP XML I could work with that too.

Thanks

There is no supported API that provides that functionality.
