Time Indicator: Auto-jumps at times when slicing a clip and sometimes when zooming in/out

1. Version of the app: 24.0.3
2. Platform and OS version: macOS Sonoma 14.1.1
3. Basic steps to reproduce the problem: Happens at times when I slice a clip and sometimes when zooming in or out. Time Indicator auto-jumps randomly in the timeline.
4. Expected result and actual result: This annoying bug shouldn't happen.

I've been having a similar bug today its super annoying. @Fergus H anyway to look into this? 

I'm on windows and seeing similar behavior. I think it may be tied to the text based editing feature but I'm not sure its very sporadic any annoying.

Like I just pasted a clip from one sequence to another and it jumped forward into some random point within the timeline.

This happened to me when upgrading a project from an older version from another editor. I trashed preferences while fixing another bug and it hasn't happened to me today yet.

Happening today when just playing back when I pause it jumps about 40 seconds ahead. Really annoying.

This is already resolved. It turns out it has something to do with me typing something in the captions panel, removing it, and it doesn't happen anymore.
