Hello all,

I am trying to transcribe a wav. clip into premiere pro.  I've done it hundreds of times for may videos with no problems what so ever.

But now the file is being recognized, but isn't popping up when I transcribe it.  It is only transcribing the video clip which has very little audio. I've retranscribe it multiple times and it's still just showing a transcript from the video file.  I've also unistalled and reinstalled premiere so please don't reccommned that.

Thank you

@Andrew309900071bto,

Are you transcribing it after putting it in a sequence? If the video file audio is over the .wav clip, PR doesn't "see" it.

In the Project Panel, right-click it and pick transcribe. And/or put the .wav file so it is "above" the other audio.

Let us know if that works (or doesn't).

Hey Stan,

Thank you!!! I work for a non profit and I was trying to get subtitles for a deaf transportation video and I was so scared to type everything out!  Your "put the .wav file so it is "above" the other audio" suggestion worked perfectly!

Thank you thank you thank you!
