Delete the Media Cache and Media Cache files:

If that doesn't't work, try Sequence > Render and turn the yellow line above the timeline to green as suggested by Kevin-Monahan .

1 hey guys😃, Thanks for repplying! none of the above solved, and I had this error "exception occurred!" but it vanished for now, what is it?
as to the transitions so far there were 3 variations of errors

1 the transition simply won't show
2 the transition will appear and vanish before it finish and then reapear again, as if it is flashing
3 the transition will happen super fast 3 times in a row

I tried
1 cleaning the media cache Deleting the Media Cache and Media Cache files
2 closing and re-opening premiere pro
3 re-installing another version
4 changing video renderer mercury playback engine software only, also tried GPU acceleration CUDA and OPENCL
5 rendering in to out so that the red bar becomes green as you see in the screenshot

nothing solved

I also made this video 😄

Hello! Did you find a solution to this? I followed your instructions above and most transitions still aren't working!

Hi @Math34741801nk4h,

Thanks for the screenshot. What happens if you park your playhead on the transition in the Timeline. See it then? Let us know. If that does not show you the transition, try rendering it. Hope the advice helps. Come back with any questions. Sorry for the issue.

Thanks,
Kevin
