Translation Workflow for Text in Text/Graphics Panel

I'm investigating translation workflows for video. I see you can view all the editable text in a timeline using the Text > Graphics panel and that you can even export all those text entries to a CSV or text file.

If I was to translate those exported files to other languages, is there a way to import the files back into Premiere so all the text would magically display in the new language? I couldn't see anything in the UI to do this.

If you want to translate text from the Text panel, try these steps:

1. Create captions from your transcript.
2. Export your captions as a CSV or SRT file.
3. Duplicate your CSV or SRT file and replace the original text with the translated text using any text editor application.
4. To convert your CSV to an SRT, use this website: editingtools.io.
5. Import the SRT file into Premiere and add it to your timeline.

Hope this helps! If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

Cheers,
Paul

Thanks @PaulMurphy, but that's not what I was asking. I'm aware of the options on the Transcript and Captions tabs. I was referring specifically to the text in the Graphics tab of the Text panel. It does not seem to have any import options.

From the Graphics tab, you can export as CSV, convert to SRT then re-import, then Graphics & Titles > Upgrade Caption to Graphic, but you will lose all design elements and formatting in this process.
