Hello everybody,
I have a problem with an animation (bar charts graphic) made with after effects.
Here is what I did:
1) Creation of a null object that includes a slider (value from 0 to 100)
2) The slider cursor is linked to a bar (charts graphic)
3) I add this slider cursor to essential graphic objects
4) I modify in after effects (essential graphic objects panel) the value of the slider it change
the size of the bar (this point is ok)
5) I preview the animation on after effects and it works perfectly
6) I export the MOGRT from after effects and import it on premiere pro and there
it is possible to change the size of the bar with the slider cursor (this is normal) but
the animation of the bar no longer works (while it worked under after effects)
Could you help me please. I don't understand why it doesn't work.

Please let us know what property you have animated in After Effects...I think the animated layer should be Precomped in AE and pre-comp should be linked to the slider.

Hi thank you for your reply first 🙂
The property is "trim path"
- I have a layer named "left bar" who have the trim path property
- I have a layer named "control" who have the parameter slider (cursor)
- I linked the trim path to the slider parameter (in control layer)
Like i said the animation works (bar grows up) perfectly in AE, i can change the slider cursor value it works.
But in Premiere Pro, i can change the value of the bar (with the slider cursor) it works, but the animation doesn't works (the bar doesn't move, no grow up)

This is the error message (translate french to english):
"this property has keyframes. Keyframes on controls getting ignored in premiere pro when composition is exported as Motion Graphics template"
How can i do ? Thank you in advance

The message itself is very clear any animated property is added into the Essential graphics will ignore the animation done in After effects..when taken into premiere pro. So ideally you should animate it in Premiere pro instead of After effects because you have that control in premiere pro.
What is the reason behind including the control silder with animation from After Effects to Premiere pro?

Thank you for asking this! I am running into the same exact problem using trim paths for a Lower Third and exporting it as a MOGRT for Premiere Pro. I want the length of the path to be editable, but to keep the animation. The preview in After Effects looks perfect, meanwhile, in Premiere the path's length is editable, but no longer animates.

Keyframes are not supported from AE to PP .mogrt. I'm trying to get better with AE, and just ran into this last week, using Trim Paths.
You can look around, there are some scripts that will help. I was able to get it into PP with a slider control and a short script in Trim Paths "Start".
