User Guide download?

I got a User Guide PDF for After Effects but cannot find how to get one for Premiere Pro. The AE one is a reference.pdf but the title is Adobe After Effects CC Help. So am I looking for a document called Adobe Premiere Pro CC Help? I'm looking for a user manual with primarily reference material.

      Doesn't work for latest version of Adobe Acrobat DC.

      Looked in Programs (x86)>Adobe>etc but it isn't there where I should think of looking.

      Thank you. I could not locate the 2016 PDF user guide. The updated online version will be useful for me in the future, I hope. If only I can figure out a way to search it without searching all Adobe help. I found no way to restrict the search to the PP User Guide and could not find answers in all the unrelated responses to my search. Since I am transitioning from Adobe CS6 to CC, there should be a lot I don't know covered in the 2016 file.

        If only. I really don't understand this option being omitted from the online help search (from the beginning) and I don't understand why a change to add the option has not been made.

        In fact, let's just do what we should always do when we have a good idea for adobe. File a feature request: feature request (and bug report) form

        When a feature/bug is not added/fixed, refile the request every time there is an update.

        OK I did a feature request. Here is what I said: "User Guide search"

        How would you like the feature to work? I want the search to be restricted to the User Guide. As it is now, It searches the whole Adobe world and I can't find the specific results I need. A simple search feature surely is common and not too difficult to implement.

        Of course, maybe there is an alternative way to search the guide. But how do I find that out? If I could upload screen shots I could show you how the interface is working for me. I'm at the User Guide page here https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/user-guide.html and there is a search box "Search Adobe Support" that leads to anywhere but the user guide. I need another box saying "Search the User Guide".

        Why is this feature important to you? Near term, migrating from CS6 to CC, there are differences. I've had silly problems such as how to deselect an item. It has been a huge time waster. Long term, I've always used User Guides since starting with Adobe Photoshop in 1991. It's a great way to find info, especially if downloaded and I don't have to get on the web.

        ----------------- I see I should have added that the online search is needed because the PDF version of the User Guide has not been updated since 2016. I have no other way to access the User Guide.
