using .mogrt and unable to import media

Since upgrading to 25, I have not been able to replace media in .mogrt downloaded from Adobe Stock. This includes .mogrts I have used before and new ones.

I have tried to drag from a folder outside of the project, as well as from a bin inside the project. I've tested .jpgs .png, .ai, .mp4 all with no success.

I tried to revert back to 24 to see if that would solve the issue, but I can't perform that function anylonger in my previous version, either.

I am on a PC (Dell) using Windows 10

    Hi @Jamie283004654gmk 

     

    The Essential Graphics panel has been renamed to the Graphics Templates panel. To edit your mogrts, use the new Properties panel.

     

    (Without a larger screenshot, I am assuming you're in the Effects Control panel, where Media Replacement does not work)

     

    If you are in the Properties panel and Media Replacement isn't working, then you may have hit a bug and we can take it from there to diagnose what's happening.

    H there, commenting for visability.
    I'm in a similar situation, when using our MOGRT templates from the creative cloud library, the file doesn't allow the image to be replaced etc.

    Hi @Scott31471795qj80,

     

    Please use the Properties panel to change mogrt controls.

     

    While the Effect Controls panel works for most mogrt controls, it is not the supported workflow so some things, like Media Replacement, do not work there.

    Thank you for the response. I found the properties panel and it worked. Not as intuitive as before, but I will remember now. Thanks!
