Using two sequences on one screen stops showing edits

Contributor ,

I'm using Premiere pro on a 1080p screen (I know poverty)

But I have one sequence on top of the other for dragging things around, every 10 minutes or so the bottom sequence stops showing movements on it. I CAN edit, and move the cursor, but it won't show up where the cursor is, what's moving where...

Anyone know how to fix this bug? It's kinda annoying having to save and re open every few minutes

Hi,

It's kind of hard to envision the problem you are having. Can you make a short movie so we can evaluate what's going on? Are you saying you have two nested sequences in a timeline and one of them stops responding? If so, give us full details of your system and media.

Regards,
Kevin

I can't make a video at the moment sadly, basically it's doing it all the time now

Even if I just have one sequence so I'll explain it better

No matter what after 10/20 minutes of editing, the sequence timeline will stop showing what edits im making. I can move things and move the playhead but I can't see the playhead, or what's being moved during the moving process... only when it's dropped in a place (which isn't good as I keep accidentally deleting other bits)

My system is almost brand new so I'm sure that won't be anything to do with it

Sounds like a redraw issue.  What GPU are you using, with what specific driver version?
