Video Card NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 965M - Render Bars

Hi.

I have an HP OMEN laptop of 17,3" with the next specifications and with an NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 965M video card

My problem is the next:

A few month ago, meanwhile I was working on a proyect, all my render bars where yellow even if I put effects on a video or changing the speed from 100% to 50%. The render bars still yellow. Even when a video did not match the specifications of the sequence, the render bars still yellow. But from one day to another, when I put an effect on a video or change the speed to 50% or the video not match the specifications of the sequence, the render bars change to red.

I don´t remember changing any setting on the computer or in the video card. So, I can´t work with a nice flow in Premiere.

I hope if someone could tell me if I need to change any settings on the video card or in Premiere, so the render bars stay yellow every time.

Thxs

Have you let Windows install an update recently?

Do not count on Windows to be fully up to date when it comes to device drivers

Go to the vendor site to be sure you have an updated driver for your graphic adapter

•nVidia Driver Downloads http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

There are also intermittent reports that the newest driver is not always the best driver due to driver bugs or compatibility issues, so you MAY need to try an earlier driver version

While you should of course attempt to get the most benefit from the GPU by updating drivers and such, red bars are not the end of the world. Does the timeline still play smoothly even with red bars? That is often the case on my system, that I will see red bars yet can still preview video smoothly, so I have no need to "render" the timeline. I just continue my work, and Export when done.

Please see this link for more info on render bar colors - http://blogs.adobe.com/premierepro/2011/02/red-yellow-and-green-render-bars.html

Thanks

Jeff

I update the drivers and all still the same. In a few days a will upgrade the RAM memory from 12 to 16gb, and see if that make my computer go smoothly.

Any suggestion?
