Wanting mp4 but coming out as mpeg-4

Hello,

this is my first post and im needing some help.

im using premiere pro creating a video for my tiktok account I've made a bunch before but for some reason this one's different it. When I exported the video it came out as a mpeg-4. The format for the video was h264 and the preset is match source. I need it to be mp4 because im finding I can't download the video to my iPhone once I've transferred it to my phone and I think the problem is because I can't download mpeg-4. I've been pulling my hair out for hours trying to figure it out watching YouTube and researching it. Much appreciated if you could help!!!

They are the same thing. If the name ends up as mpeg-4 unexpectedly, just rename it.

Most likely, you choose the wrong settings.

Post screenshot export settings.

Select the H.264 preset options. Those are mp4.

You might be using the mpeg preset, and that is a different thing.
