Hello, and welcome to the June release of Adobe Premiere Pro! Premiere Pro 25.3 is now available from the Creative Cloud desktop app and is recommended for all users.
Learn about best practices for updating Premiere Pro.
The 25.3 release of Premiere Pro features advanced filtering in the Search panel, label colors in sequence tabs, improved color handling, and more. It's the perfect time to update. 😊
Refine your search results with precision by applying filters based on metadata. Whether you're working with hundreds of clips or trying to track down that one perfect shot, advanced filtering helps you zero in faster.
You can display and change the label color of sequences directly in the Timeline panel, enhancing organization and making complex projects easier to manage.
Premiere Pro now automatically detects and applies the correct data range for DNxHR/DNxHD (MXF) and PNG files based on embedded metadata, preserving super-whites and sub-blacks. It will support CICP-tagged color metadata for PNGs and provide enhanced export options for precise color space control and HDR metadata embedding.
Hardware acceleration of 10-bit 4:2:2 video provides dramatically improved playback performance.

Hi, Since upgrading to v25.3 some of my Keyboard Shortcuts won't function. I've tried deleting those shortcuts in the Keyboard Settings Panel and then recreating them fresh, first with my usual preferred keys and then with other available keys, but the shortcuts won't stick. For example: In v24 (and all earlier versions too) I use the same or similar keyboard shortcuts for Reveal in Project and Reveal in Finder, and it's always worked exactly as you'd expect when Panels are activiated for Timeline, Source and Project panels. Now I've lost this functionality. Since upgrading, some of my custom keyboard shortcuts work fine, some don't. I solved this by ditching my saved custom Keyboard Shortcuts and I'm now working to rebuild them all. Shortcust work fine when I create a brand new set of Custom Keyboard Shortcuts. Not sure if the upgrade caused this, or if my shortcuts file corrupted somehow, but in case anyone else experiences this... start fresh and remap your fave keys!

See this thread for an example of a problem when a 2024 .kys file is copied to the 2025 location. The problem occurs when the commandname for a shortcut in 2024 is used for a different shortcut in 2025. For example, cmd.timeline.show.direct.clip.manipulation was used for Transform in the Program Monitor in 2024, and in 2025, it is used for "Toggle Transform Direct Manipulation," and moved to the application/"global" section.
PR does not "see" that a shortcut is assigned in your 2024 .kys file, and assigns the same key to another shortcut. If the shortcut is not otherwise assigned in 2025, it may do nothing, or its scope may be affected.
Your workaround, creating a new custom keyboard, fixes things.

Premiere Pro v25.3 is not working on my M1 MacBook Pro! No Sound, just static and it takes forever to find footage. I deleted it and reloaded v24.2.3 (build 4), which works well. There are keyboard shortcuts that don't work like in the past, but overall, it's OK. Adobe, are we heading in the right direction?

Please improve text based editing selection! Approximately, 6 months ago after the Premiere Pro update the selection of the text became awful. When I select the text I want to remove, the app unslecting it. This problem not only on Windows 11 but also on Mac version.

I'm having a issue with my Timeline Panel. It goes blank when I add a sequence. I have cleaned Creative Cloud/Adobe and reinstalled with the help of 2 different Adobe representatives remoting into my computer. Do you know if this will be fixed soon? Need help ASAP.

Have the render/export bugs that were in the last version been fixed in this?
