Theres no easy way to just load in a Premiere script as a menu item, like you might in After Effects.

However, there is a handy extension called JSX Launcher that allows you to load in jsx files you have prepared in Extendscript Toolkit, and then run them. No need to put them in a specific location, you can target whatever folder you would like.

Premiere Pro does not support scripting.

What are you trying to do?

Aha, i was not aware of that. I must have missed all the buzz about it when it was introduced.

Zero buzz: It's been in there forever, but its usage has burgeoned over the past 3-5 years, as panels proliferate.

Easiest to just install is through Creative Cloud.

If you must use the ZXP, try this: https://zxpinstaller.com/

Glad you have managed to do this.

No, unfortunately you cannot transfer the extension to another machine unless its a free license thats redistributable. It will break the license.

When it verifies the extension online it uses that machines mac address so it is machine dependent.
