Wheres the video?

When I insert a multi-media clip from the source monitor into a sequence only the audio is present. Is there a setting that has gotten changed.

Are you by any chance dragging audio only using the audio button underneath the video?

Make sure you click and drag on the actual video

Sorry to hear this.

I understand that media file is imported with both the audio and video. However, when you drag it to the timeline, only audio is dragged.

Please check if source patching is enabled (both V1and A1 should be selected).

My first thought is operator error.

Premiere Pro is complex software.  Don't just jump in, learn how to use it.
