Hey everyone, I recently did a shoot for a major event but my mic seemed to not be recording well. When checking footage there's a distorted noise over every other sound. I think I may have plugged up the wrong cables, but is there a way I can get rid of that noise and have my regular sound back?

Might want to try Audition.

as per Ann, Audition has a tool where you can create a noise print, and attempt to use that to remove the noise (works best if you have a sectrion of audio with no other sounds but the noise you want to remove). Bottom line, you will have to expirment, it could be really easy or go the other way too. First step, poke around in there and try some of the tools and see if youtube has a 'how to' for the tools your trying out.
