I'm working with on a MacBook Pro with a Benq monitor that is calibrated. The original footage is from a Sony PVW-Z-90 in 4K. When I output the sequence using H.264 and High Quality 1080p HD the resulting file seems to have lost saturation and there is no pure black anymore. I've played with adding an adjustment layer and adding saturation and contrast there, but it's not really working as well as I would like. I've also tried using the YouTube 1080p setting with similar problems.
Are there settings that would do better in outputting to 1080p, or are there other workarounds that I should know about?
