Why is the new update so slow?

Is anyone else dealing with the new update being incredibly slow? It turned my timeline into red status and is taking ages to render 50 frames. Do I go back to an older version?

There's not enough information here to troubleshoot your issue. You can reinstall the previous version from the Creative Cloud app, but the version is likely not the issue. Was the same section of your timeline not red before? If so, is GPU acceleration enabled in your project? If not, but it was before, then perhaps your GPU driver is out of date.
