Wish to create a mask to allow a rolling credit to disappear behind an image

Hi Guys

I came up with this idea to have my simple rolling credit to start off the screen but then disappear behind an image close to the top. I am sure it would be super easy for someone not from the 'baby boomer era' (me)

So I have two images one as a complete background image and the second as imported 'image/ logo which I would like the credits to disapper behind instead of finishing off screen.

Appreciate a nudge in the right direct

I'm sure there are many ways to do this. I would duplicate the background and put it on a track above the the titles but below the logo. I would then add the linear wipe video effect to this new background track and adjust it's position and feather to line up with the bottom of the logo.

Select your clip with the rolling titles, then go to the Effect Controls panel and increase the Crop Top value to mask out the top of the clip.
