For some videos where I need to get onto editing them ASAP, instead of having to proxy all the files beforehand, it'd be nice if you could set it to only proxy files which get dragged into the Timeline, so to avoid proxying unused footage.
I get fundamentally proxies are meant to be proxied before editing the project, but this could be a good way for slower systems to not need to wait forever to proxy when time isn't available, and could also decrease the use of storage.
