Enable Hover Scrub Preview from Bin to Display in Source Monitor
Description:
Currently in Adobe Premiere Pro, the hover scrub feature only plays the video thumbnail directly within the Project panel (Bin). However, it does not preview in the Source Monitor.
It would be extremely helpful to have an option where hovering over clips in the Bin automatically shows that preview inside the Source Monitor — similar to how Final Cut Pro allows quick clip browsing without manual loading.
This feature would:
Greatly improve browsing and selection speed when reviewing footage.
Allow editors to quickly audition multiple clips using a larger, more accurate display (Source Monitor).
Streamline workflow for editors who work with large amounts of footage.
Please consider adding an option like:
“Enable Hover Scrub Preview in Source Monitor”
This would make clip review faster and more intuitive, especially for those switching from Final Cut Pro to Premiere Pro.
