Keyboard Shortcut or Toggle Switch for Timeline Playback Auto-Scroll

Community Beginner ,

I'm not sure if there are a lot of posts like this but I find the Timeline Playback Auto-Scrolling feature very useful. Incorporating the Page Scroll and the Smooth Scroll in my workflow helps with my efficiency and editing style, switching from one after the other.

However, this feature is buried too deep in the Preferences > Timeline > Timeline Playback Auto-Scrolling.

It's way too tedious for me to go there every single time to switch.

This feature should be easily accessible in the Timeline panel itself as a button to toggle or even better, allow us to put this in the Keyboard Shortcuts, which you cannot find it still.

I hope Adobe listens and puts this one in as I'm sure would help a lot of other professionals.

Excellent tip and I often forget or find it tedious to locate this feature. I agree it should be a more easily accessable button somewhere to toggle between them, but I do believe saving it to a workspace would avoid repeating this procedure if you want it to stick.

Thanks for sharing, @syabilng 🙂
