Option to go back to old timeline label colors?

So apparently the new update has changed the label colors in the timeline, and I do not like them at all. It's supposed to be "easier to see" but it has the complete opposite effect for me. The colors are very dark and have a cheaper feel to them. I know that you can set your label colors to "classic" mode in the settings, which is supposed to be the old look, but it's not the same look at all.

I'm currently going to set premiere back to an older version, but I'd love to see a way to go back to the old colors.

As noted on other threads ... it is fine that you do not like the changes. But your comments show that you expect that the millions of other users that like them are all idiots beneath contempt.

That is rather ... not a pleasant thing to imply let alone say in a public discussion.

Feel free to say that you do not like something ... but please be very specific as to how it affects your working processes in the app, That is both useful and helpful. As we are all different, and no two users of the several million daily users see or do things the same way. The more variety of comments, the better the entire user base is represented.

It is most impolite to imply or say others are idiots. And totally unproductive.

I will not stand on ceremony and say that those who made these disgusting colors are complete bastards. Everyone - from the beginning to the end, who participated in this process. Shameless creatures who make changes for the sake of changes. You do not work hours every day like video editors. You do not strain your eyes. Return everything to how it was!!! Return normal colors. Interface, timeline, return the previous sizes of the controls that mark the scaling of the timeline. Return the track names to what they were before!!! May you spend in medicine all the bonuses and salaries that you received for these changes

@Bret_Koehler2831

That is not a fix, it's just choosing a different setting.

We users actually have far more choices and controls now for the UI colors for labels and such in Premiere. Use them. Take a couple minutes and see what all you can do. It's rather amazing, actually.

Legacy colors are still available.

You can even make your own.

So now, at version of 25 and on, there is no option to stay at legacy colours? Guess I will be staying out of updates for a while and then think about switching to another software. Learning with these new colours ain't worth it when Adobe constantly making things for the worse for no reason at all, and then I can start learning with another software when at it. What a horendous change.

You have more control of many things in Premiere than ever ... including labels. Color Management is another area of massively added user controls. So yea, we now have to do more to get specific things.

In all, it's a very useful set of changes. Getting the audio side of the labels working as you wish can be tricky, true. Try going darker or lighter, and then watch how they behave on a sequence when you say keframe loudness. After you figure that out, then you can set those pretty nice, as most of us found out.

What a horrible decision by Adobe. I'm so thrown off by all these new colors. So harsh on the eyes... no option to truly to back to the way it's been forever. It's really messing with my eyes right now. Glancing through this thread it looks like I'm gonna have to take a while to pick through all these color options to get it back to the way I like it. Bad move Adobe.

Changing the brightness changes the color completely. I can't believe Adobe does this without the option to go back. Or what they call 'Classic' is actually not the same as before.
