Please allow “same as source channels” for exported videos

Please allow the user to be able to select “same as source” audio channels in the export settings of both Premiere Pro and Adobe Media Encoder. This is to allow fixing the audio channel mismatch error you might get when working with proxy workflows. The reason I am requesting this and hoping to get it upvoted is when we receive footage shot across a wide variety of cameras, i.e. Canon C300 / GoPro / Drone / Canon 5D / Other various cameras that may be using different channels other than “Stereo” or even switching the channels halfway through a shoot card, then creating proxies is extremely difficult as you have to then manage the export settings across all files versus just batch encoding all the files based on source. This is a very large problem for me when I receive 1-2+ TB of media shot across various media and therefore my workaround is to use Davinci Resolve to export. Would love to start keeping this all in Adobe at some point. Thank you for your support.

YES, THIS PLEASE. If I choose "create proxies" in premiere, it will automatically make stereo proxies, which premiere will not allow me to relink bc the Audio channels are different, even though they were created in premiere. Please fix.

Yes. This could be really helpful when working on tv-series with a lot of episodes where the material is coming from different production companies. They all have their own setup for the audio tracks export.

This is not easy to make as we don't know what the source channels are when exporting from Premiere Pro or Media Encoder.
Nonetheless, you can have custom arbitrary stereo / mono / multichannel mono output with AfterCodecs an exporter plugin with lots of codecs and features : https://autokroma.com/AfterCodecs/

This really sounds like a must have. I am starting to use Proxies and with my Atomos Ninja V, it creates stereo files but the Atomos Ninja V has 4 Mono Tracks. Kind of annoying to always have to remember which preset to choose when all I want is a smaller video proxy file.

Please @Adobe. Let us have the "Audio Channel Configuration: Same as Source" setting.

P.S.: Same goes for Sample Rate and Sample Size!

I'm flabbergasted that this is not in Adobe Premiere. Well... actually i'm not surprised, but still i don't understand.

OMG ABSOLUTELY! Proxy workflow settings can get complicated enough as it is. Source media rarely keeps consistent audio tracks across all media to ingest. PLEASE PLEASE allow "same as source channels" as an option in the AUDIO tab of settings!!!!!
