"Set to Frame Width"

We import a lot of stills (stock images) into 1080 sequences. Most of these are not 16:9.

We can use "Set to frame size", but then need to scale them up to fit width.

It would be helpful to have the option to "Set to Frame Width".

I would suggest having three options.
- Fit to Width
- Fit to Height
- Fill Frame (stretch both height and width to match those of the sequence)

Agree that they need some better options. I think fit to fill would cover more bases. I often have the opposite problem where 4096x2160 footage will result in a silly amount of letterboxing in a 16:9 sequence.

Yes, but maybe a "fit height" and/or "fill frame" option on top of your suggestion would be even better.

Yes, just copy After Effects' options.

Also great when using editing DCI footage in a 16:9 timeline. Fit to height doesn't work, you have to go in and manually scale.

And it's corollary, Set to Frame Height.
