Remember transcription settings

When I transcribe a video, I don't want to have to set which language I want to use and what the other settings should be each time. Premiere Pro should not just reset to English as the default language. Premiere Pro should remember my settings.

I assume you are talking about the Create Captions - which does allow saving a preset. And it should start with the last settings you use.

However, there is a bug that results in any preset always setting "single line," whereas the default always sets double line.

Thank you so much! I didn't know there were settings for that 😄 Still, I think settings like how many lines of text you want to use for your subtitles get reset every time. Am I wrong?

FunFürFelix,

It looks like it is working for me, but it did not apply immediately. Edit -> Preferences -> Transcription and set default language. I changed from  English to Spanish.

But in the project I had open, it still showed English. I suspect that I needed to close PR and reopen. But when I did, I also created a new project. And when I opened my old project, it used Spanish, even when I did a re-transcribe on a clip I had transcribed before in English.

Does that work for you?
