As a documentary editor, I'm really loving the text-based editing workflow, and it has helped me out a ton. However, there are a couple of things I'd really love to see added to the existing Text window.
First, It would be amazing to see direct integrations with Chat GPT or another AI that could automatically manipulate the trascript based on prompts. I'm already doing this somewhat by exporting transcripts directly into Chat GPT and generating ideas for edits...but an integrated window within Premiere that could respond and create rough cuts based on the transcript would be insanely helpful. 🙂
Secondly, I am consistently using the search feature to remove unnecessary words and phrases all at once. One thing I would really like to see is the ability to identify and remove back-to-back repeated words when someone starts and stops. Additionally, identification of common unnecessary phrases like "I mean" or "you know" would be somewhat helpful.
