Hello Friends,
all my gopro clips are 4k 60fps (well, some are only fullhd).
I am veeeery new to premiere, but ive got the hint that i should use 30fps sequences (or 29,xx) and use 200% playback speed unless i like to create some slow motions (which would probably be fine with 100% then).
Thing is, that it doesnt matter what i do, i have normal playback speed always.
What i did:
-> Create new Sequence
-> Select 30fps (or 29,97 fps)
-> Drop 60fps (or 59,94 fps) clip to the sequence
-> Select NOT to adjust sequence settings
-> Press play -> Clip is in normal speed (no slow motion) despite that sequence setting is still 30fps (or 29,97fps)
How to do this properly?
How to get sound fitted to slowmo? So far sound stays at normal speed (or size in sequence) and doesnt adapt to clip speed

Hi Saargebeat.
You're on the right track, but you missed just one step. Right click on your footage in the Project Panel, and go to Modify > Interpret Footage... Then you can change your higher frame rate to the sequence's lower frame rate. Now when you drop your clip into your timeline, now it will be slow motion. If your clip is already in your timeline, it will adjust.
Here is a link that describes what I'm explaining in more depth. Just skip the first section, and scroll down the page to the title "2. Re-Interpret Frame Rate." https://www.premiumbeat.com/blog/slow-motion-premiere-pro/
