I want to create a video that has a clickable link in it.   That is, I want to be able to tell the viewer near the end of the video, "if you want more on this subject click on this link".  The link will be somewhere in the video and if they click on it, they will go to that site.  If they right click (in Windows) on the link, it will open in a new tab. I upload my videos to Vimeo.  Can a "hot link" be done in Premiere Pro and if so, how?  Thanks.  I am on the latest release of PP CC 2019,

Creating “wired“ movies is not supported in in Premiere Pro.

I think that the last Adobe application to support this for QuickTime movie files directly was Adobe GoLive.

A non-Adobe application called Electrifier Pro was also really popular for creating wired movies, but it was also discontinued a very long time ago.

QuickTime, of course, is deprecated.  So it’s a lost feature entirely.

Flash video supports it, but only from the Shockwave/Flash Player and that has been largerly replaced by HTML5 and

As far as I know, the answer is no... web access is not part of any "regular" video specification

I've never done it, but I've read in the past that Flash Pro (which I think is now Animate) could create a multi-media video to stream from a web site and have a clickable link... but I have NO idea what is available today to do what you want

Added... some OLD links I found... but I don't know if anything below is still relevant today

Web or Internet functions on a DVD http://www.squidoo.com/embed

Macromedia Director http://www.adobe.com/products/director.html for mixed content

-I do NOT know if a Macromedia disc will play a "movie" in a set top box at a TV

-or some functions via Flash http://forums.adobe.com/thread/871391

-or ROM Content and a note http://forums.adobe.com/thread/883630

You first need to determine how Vimeo is going to handle it. I have not done this, and this link is from 2017. It appears to me that it is not part of the video, but of the options when you embed the video somewhere else.

More customization, more engagement: all-new end screens on Vimeo

YouTube and Vimeo allow users to embed links via hot spots after you upload the video and before you publish it.  Or course, you do that after you’ve exported from Premeire Pro.

This is not something that can be done in a video editor.  It requires special playback software, such as found with YouTube.
