Hi There
I have been trouble shooting this for about a week - this is what I have discovered.
When exporting using Media Encoder I can see the AMD Radeon Pro 580 in activity monitor max out to 100% and hover around there.
After some time, usually when encountering a lumetri effect on a clip, the graphics card activity will drop to 0% for 10-15 seconds.
During this time media encoder will continue on processing - but when reviewing the exported clip the section where activity dropped to 0% will correlate to an audio glitch - which is usually random piece of looped audio for about 2-3 seconds.
Here is a screen grab from Activity Monitor taken during an export. You can clearly see 2 instances where activity drops to 0%. This is where the glitches in the render have occurred

I have tried EVERY different setting possible including changing timeline setting, export settings, Open CL, Metal AND Software Only for the renderer. I have been editing for 20 years - I am not new to this.
I have tried rolling back to High Sierra, this seems to make Prem a bit more stable, but does not resolve this problem.
More recently I have tried using an EGPU (AMD Radeon RX 580) and what happens is BOTH graphics cards will drop out at the same time under load.
If I try to export directly out of Premiere Pro - it will crash mid export every time.
Yes I have had all of the hardware on my mac checked out and it is fine. I have a fresh install of Mojave 10.14.6 and Prem and Media encoder are both up to date (2019).
I am a bit stumped by this one - hope some of you in the community can help out - it would be much appreciated.
Below are the specs of my machine, and the timeline info.
Timeline was 1920x1080 with a mix of 6K RED footage, and 4K Blackmagic Camera footage. Most with lumetri effect added.

Thanks in advance, Andrew
