Apostrophe not appearing in text

Explorer ,
Oct 11, 2019 Oct 11, 2019

I'm having a bit of a problem when it comes to adding text in Premiere Pro. I installed a new font to the program, and when I hit the apostrophe keyboard, it doesn't seem to appear in the program window. Does anyone know the problem why?

Can you type an apostrophe with that font into MS Word or such?

Could be a corrupt font. Is it a 'free' font? Perhaps it does not have an apostrophe 😞

Short term solution is to use a similar looking fonts' apostrophe
