Hi,
I am using an existing .srt file to enter subtitles on a video file.
The subtitles in white are showing with a black background. I need to change the backgroung to transparent.
Is there a way I can do this for all subtitles at a time or do I need to change one by one?
Thanks

This can depend on type of caption stream (Open Caption vs closed) and version of Premiere Pro.
Assuming you have Open Captions, in the Caption Panel, left click on the first caption, then shift-click on the last. All captions should now be selected. Then select the Background icon (little square) and set the percent to zero.
If that doesn't do it, please post a screenshot of your Caption Panel.

Hi Stan,
Thank you very much for the swift reply.
I regret to say I was unable to put it working, but I am very new on Adobe Premiere Pro.
Please see attached the print screen. I have version 14.1.0
Thanks!

That looks like you should have a transparent background on that caption.
Sometimes changes in the Caption stream show in the Caption Panel, but do not show on the Program Monitor. As a test, if you change the text of the caption that you are on, do you see the change in the Program Monitor?
Did you duplicate the caption stream at any point after import to PR?
Your caption stream is 720x480; is that the pixel size of the sequence?
Stan
