Converting MOD file in Adobe Premiere

New Here ,
Apr 01, 2019 Apr 01, 2019

I have videos recorded with a JVC camcorder in MOD format. When I import them in Adobe Premiere, the video quality is poor and there is no sound. How can I convert them into a mpeg format with a sound? Thank you!

Thank you, but this leads to me a program that is not Adobe. I am asking about Adobe Premiere or Adobe Media Encoder.

The problem is Adobe software doesn't always handle those files well.  Your best option may well be to use a third party tool for conversion.
