Could you tell us about your system?

...including your operating system, RAM, and hard drive setup (how many, what kind, are they NTFS or FAT32, what is on each, and how full)?
Also, how are you importing and from where?

Windows 10 Pro is installed as the operating system on my PC. As hard drives I use an Intel SSD with 222GB storage space (40 GB free), an old HDD with 130 GB (110 GB free, there is nothing relevant for Adobe products on this hard drive) and another HDD with 2TB (1.06 TB free) , Furthermore, an i7 - 9700K and 16 GB Ram are installed in my PC.
The SSD contains the operating system and the Creative Cloud with all applications (PS, AE, Media Encoder) except Premiere Pro. Premiere Pro is on the HDD with 2TB because it has more free space.
I import from a folder that is on the HDD with 2TB. I did the import via drag and drop and via the button under File.
I also tried to solve the problem by reinstalling SSD on HDD (2TB). However, this did not solve the problem.
Because of this, I am currently at a loss, because even after several attempts it was found that only very small files can be imported without problems. Anything over 500 mb causes Premiere to stop responding. Everything that is below 500 mb takes a very long time ... Things that are larger than 1.2 - 1.3 GB are mostly impossible to import!
Thank you for the help and wishes happy holidays!
Yours sincerely, Yazarott

I tried to import the files via the media browser and had the same problem. The other one doesn't really help me either!
