Essential graphics template importing with unwanted sound track

I have created some motion graphics templates in After Effects. None of them have any audio, but when I use them in Premiere, they all have silent audio tracks.

This isn't the end of the world, but the audio is useless, and it actually can overwrite the intended audio track when placed on a timeline, if you're not paying attention.

Considering that I'm creating these templates for my team to use, I'd love for our editors to be able to just import the motion graphics templates sans audio, so they don't need to delete useless audio nor worry about accidentally overwriting part of the audio track.

Did I set something up wrong in AE? Did I miss a setting in PP? Or is this unchangeable default behavior?

I'm using AE and PP 2017 on Creative Cloud.

Apologies if I've missed an answer for this, but I have searched seemingly everywhere! Thanks for the help!

No, you did not miss anything. This is a known issue and Product Team is already working on a fix.

While importing the templates try to drop them on the unused tracks and you can remove the unwanted Audio later.

I know it's an extra work & I apologize for this hassle, but that is the only workaround as of now.

No, you did not miss anything. This is a known issue and Product Team is already working on a fix.

While importing the templates try to drop them on the unused tracks and you can remove the unwanted Audio later.
