Exporting For 4k Bluray

Community Beginner ,

Hello, I was just wondering if it was possible on premiere pro 2018 to export a file for 4k bluray? Under H264 and MPEG2 bluray presets there is no option for 4k. Any help would be great, for normal 1080 hd I just use mpeg2 bluray setting and import into encore. thanks in advance!

No there is no 4K Bluray export.

I would use H.264 for Bluray as its a better codec then mpeg2.

You may want to use Media Encoder. It does have a h264 4k pre-set

What are you using to author the 4K BD? Curious. Encore won't.

I would recommend using HEVC (H.265) for this one.  It'll take longer to export, but should offer superior quality at similar bitrates.  It also offers UHD presets.
