Fine-tune end of scrolling credits in legacy titler

Hi Folks,

Still using legacy titler for credits sequence, and I still have not figured out how to end a scroll low on the screen without the automatic scroll pushing it too high up.

I want to end my credits with text low on the screen, but still above the 80% safe margin.  The titler will not let me.

Here's a screenshot of what I mean.  There's nothing below the "2017"...

Besides making a separate graphic and animating in at the same speed as the credits end, I don't know how to achieve the exact look I want.

Can anyone help me out here?

I'm excited about the prospects of the new Essential Graphics interface, but it has a LONG way to go before it completely replaces the legacy titler.

    Richard,

I tried a few scenarios and had similar issues which looks like the Program screen is longer than the titler screen by the

difference of the safe margin. But my external monitor is the same as the titler . So you have to adjust the positions  to get the

wanted spot. But compare the position on your external monitor first

Disable the end off screen option and manually position the title at the right stop by previewing and pushing till you get the right point

You have to end the title where you want it to end during the creation of the title. Whenever your writing ends or the title tool stops is where your credits ends

It does not seem to work like that, even if you have the title end at the very bottom of the screen when it plays or if you close and open the titler the end point will have moved up.

You have t do some workaround.

Set the title to go off screen.

Place the cti where you want it to stop.

    make an export frame.

put a black video at the cti over the title.

then set the export frame over the black video.

It's not too hard to make my ending graphic separate and animate it in at the same speed, I'm just always looking for proper methods instead of work-arounds.  If there isn't one, it is what it is.

I can't make it stop earlier either.

A number of people make their titles in photoshop and then animate the keyframes in Premiere, might be your best option in this case.

Even better answer (I don't know why I didn't think of it before) Just move the title using the Clip Effects Control so it is lower in frame.

Close, but if I don't animate that adjustment at the very end, the titles will cut off from the top for the entire scroll.
