Several times a minute, I get a spinning ball in Premiere. Console does this:
HALPlugIn::DeviceGetCurrentTime: got an error from the plug-in routine, Error: 1937010544 (<private>)
HALC_ProxyIOContext::GetCurrentTimeInfo: the hardware isn't running
over and over. I went into the HAL plugin folders and deleted everything, but it's still happening. It doesn't tell me what plugin in crashing, or what hardware isn't running that's causing this.
Does anyone know what I can do? This is driving me insane.

Running into this same issue - Have you figured out how to resolve?
It's like a quick lag every so often.

I would go to the plugin's site and see if they have an update available or contact their support.

As far as I know, I haven't installed this plugin. It may have been auto-installed by an Adobe product, but there's nothing else this would've come with that I can think of on my machine.

As far as I can tell, this isn't anywhere on my computer. The example they're using in that article is MPlayerX, which I don't have installed - some specs, I'm running a brand new 16" MacBook Pro. I THINK this is only occuring when my headphones are plugged in. There's nothing installed on the computer, besides adobe products that seem to run into the issue, and as far as I can tell, Audition isn't having the problem. Only Premiere. My console errors are the same as the OP's - indicating that there's something that Premiere's looking for that's not there. Hmm...
Again, any help's appreciated!
edit: Hmm. I'm not sure anymore this is what's causing the intermittent ball problem. This comes up every time I press play, but the issue happens during other processes.
