Hi,
I've done some searching but can't find any specific answers. I have a DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone which records in 10bit HDR with a log profile. When in PP 2019 when I click High dynamic range in Lumetri colour it stops the ability to add a LUT - I know I can add an adjustment layer and add a LUT that way, but when I render and select the rec 2010 and HDR option to export the video appears flat - I have a standard dynamic monitor but my phone can display HDR - the video appears flat like it is just the LOG profile on both screens.
So my question is how to add a LUT when working with HDR and if any one has any tips with the scopes to make sure that the colours are correctly exposed (as I'm grading on a SDR monitor but exporting as HDR for Youtube etc. -- and if there's a way to make it look good on either sceen (HDR/SDR)
Thanks for any information / tips
Cheers,
Tim

using any lut in lumetri clips the color engine down to srgb so you'd need to use another program if you wanted to keep large color gamut colors. reproducing hdr content is still mostly metadata driven. youtube has a process where you can add the lut as a side upload, but the metadata needs to be created in another program. can premiere cc 2019 export true rec. 2020? prove me wrong somebody.
as a test, try using a arricolor to linear and linear to arricolor lut and see if you get color artifacts. AE won't.
