Then it would export it as an mp4. I want to keep it in mov format.

There are different formats in the export settings such as Quicktime that exports to mov.
But you can also export to mp4 and change the extension to mov.

When I choose the option to convert to Quicktime format it won't allow me to keep the dimension of the original file. It requires me to use specific dimensions.

I recommend Cineform YUV 10 bit.

If you mean change the codec with the H.264 format, there is no setting for codec. If you mean change the codec with the Quicktime format, there is no Cineform YUV option for the codec.

It also won't help me to change the extension from mov to mp4, since I am having trouble with getting a good export to mp4. I'm having the black screen problem as I commented in my other post.

No wonder its black: there is no video in the source only audio.

I dropped a working mov file -- one that is recorded with Quicktime of an iPhone 8. Let me try again.

I tried doing it again. It's still apparently not dropping the video in. Only the audio is dropping in. This didn't happen before.
