How do I import guide templates?

I have a project where I created several different guide layouts. I found out that I can export them from the Guides Template option, but I can't find any option anywhere to import them to another project.

I find this extremely frustrating. The PPro help doesn't even have a section on Guides and I don't want to have to recreate 10 different templates that I need.
