How do I tween a cropped image in Premiere CS6?

Adobe Premiere CS6

I'm trying to animate an image of a logo on a building that's falling down.

The problem is that that when I crop the image aka logo it doesn't register with the keyframes like how the position/scale/opacity/etc. register with their keyframes (e.g. if i set the crop to be a half circle on frame 1 it'll permanently be stuck at whatever the next crop I set it to is, e.g. if frame 1 is a half circle, and frame 2 is a full circle, then every single frame is stuck at full circle until I make another change then every single frame becomes stuck at whatever that next change is).

The only way I can think of to do this is to animate it frame-by-frame by dragging in the symbol from the media bin 50x and cropping each frame individually as it moves instead of using the quick and easy method of using keyframes to crop all in one image still.

Check that your keyframes for the crop image/track are not set to Hold.

If they are set to Hold, then select the Hold keyframes, right-click them, and change the keyframe type to Linear or one of the Beziers:

Crop? Half circle? No idea what you mean.
