Hello,
In one of the longtimeago versions of my current Adobe Premiere 2018 projects I apparently used two audio equalizer effects.
Apparently they got lost along the road - nothing serious about it...
But upon loading APr keeps popping up an error message that two effects are missing.
I can click ok to make the load continue, but I would prefer to delete this message.
Have NO clue where the original clips are located containing the missing audio effects.
What to do?
Thanks,
Wim

Find the clip with the effect.
Turn on selection follows playhead.
Target track.
Arrow down through the timeline.
watch Effect controls.

Thanks, Ann, but as said:
HOW to find the clips with the effects? Never done that...

Hi Ann,
Initially I misunderstood your text. I thought each line was a new step.
So I didn't know how to find the clip(s).
Later I understood.
Scrolled through my edited 82 mins of footage twice, did NOT find any of the two 'error' effects, described as:
Audio Filter missing: 1095781938 DeNoiser2
Audio Filter missing: 1095782706 EQ2
Maybe I did overlook something, should I scroll again?
Or still another tool to find them?
I vaguely think I just ONCE, long ago, tried to find out how DeNoiser and EQ2 work - but can't remember I applied them.
Hardly use any audio effect, apart from adjusting the volume or crossfades.
Maybe I am just wrong.
Thanks,
Wim

Looks like 3rd party effect.
You will have to install them again,
remove the effect from the clip.
uninstall plugin.

Hi Ann,
Never used any plugin for anything.
Am very basic user.
The 2 effects mentioned are totally irrelevant for me.
I just want to delete the useless error messages and create a smooth loading process.
Impossible?

The EQ2, for example, is an obsolete VST plugin that is installed with the regular PR installation. I believe you do, in fact, have it applied to at least one clip in a sequence.
Did you check all the sequences in your project?
Using Ann's method, the filter will appear in the effects panel as "Filter Offline (Obsolete)."

Hi Stan and Ann,
I started this big travel project 1 year ago in Premiere 2014. Stopped few months with eye problems. Continued after successful operation but had to re-install my pc after hardware trouble and migrated to Premiere 2018.
In 2014 I never installed any plugin.
But 'maybe' (?) I ever experimented a bit with 2014-plugin-effects??
Seems there is no clip with the mentioned effects - yes, I checked all sequences 2x, including the start part.
Will do that for a 3rd time, but don't expect much.
Apparently Premiere has no feature: ignore missing effects??
Thanks,
Wim

I looked at your project file, and you have at least 5 instances of applying EQ2. I have not figured out how to get more information about the clip name, what sequence it is, etc. (Clips etc are coded by reference numbers.) Also, I can't be sure that the clips actually appear in any sequences, but I don't know how else the EQ2 would show up.
If you can't find the clips to remove the effect, I don't know of any way to turn off the warning. The problem should be limited to only a project that uses the obsolete effects.
Stan
