Mask tracking inside a Lumetri

Community Beginner ,
Jan 09, 2020 Jan 09, 2020

Hello,

I'm trying to create color adjustments to just portions of the image but they are moving. So I need to mask and track those movements. However, while I'm able to mask the object(s) it doesn't seem that I'm able to track the movements inside of my Lumetri.

It does let me track certain elements of the Lumetri itself, like the HSL color wheel or Saturation, but I don't want to change those settings over time, I want the mask to move with the image that's moving so my object stays the color that I changed it to and no other objects change along the way.

Does anyone know how I can make this work?

Thanks,

Will

If you go to the Effect Controls you will find the regular mask option just under the word Lumetri Color.

Hi Ann,

Thanks for your reply. I'm not having trouble making the mask. Once I create the mask there's no tracking option like there is under the Opacity portion. I need to track the mask.

Thanks,

Will

Hit the tracking, when finished it will render.

Wow - I do not see that option at all!

OK, I see what happened. The little down arrow wasn't depressed. Now I see the tracking options.

Thanks for your help,

Will
