New Here ,

Why don't I have any predesigned menus in Encore?  I have the cloud but I cannot access any predesigned menus.

-Extract the zip file that you just downloaded. This will create a .7z file

-Extract the .7z file to create a folder based on the language you selected.

You seem to have done the first, but not the second... find a program to extract the contents of the 7z file

I have NO idea why Adobe put a compressed 7z file inside another compressed Zip file

You have to download all these extras.

Install the Encore CS6 templates and library content

The Encore CS6 installer does not automatically install the templates or library content that can be used to create your own menus.

A guide to installing these files can be found here: http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/multi/library-functional-content-missing.html

Be sure you click BOTH links on that page... there are two separate downloads

-folder structure http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1065117

-How to Extract the Library content to the Library folder

-Extract the zip file that you just downloaded. This will create a .7z file

-Extract the .7z file to create a folder based on the language you selected.

-Copy the contents of the language folder (eg. en-US) to the following location:

-Windows: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Encore CS6\

--Library folders will replace the existing Library Folders & Files

--Place into Windows: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Encore CS6\Library

--you will now see "many" sub-folders under the Library folder

I also have this same issue.  I also have Creative Cloud and have downloaded the Premier Pro CS6 family which gives me access to Encore CS6.  I have an iMac. OS 10.7.5, Lion.  I have followed the instrucrtions shown above to download templates and library content.  The first download added library content for meues and nothing else.  The second download created a .7z file.  This is a 1.8 GB document file.  I placed the file per the instructions into the Encore CS6 Application.  This did not add any other templates to the library.  Does anyone have any suggestions to solve this issue?

Thanks

John by 2 separate downloads that need to be clicked which are those?

I downloaded the Windows link here.

Was there another?

Solution: Install the CS6 Functional Content

Creative Cloud and disc product customers

Download and install the functional content for Adobe Premiere Pro and Encore.

  • After Effects template projects were migrated to the After Effects Exchange.
  • Adobe Premiere Pro and Encore Functional Content is available here:

Mac OS (1.1 GB)
Windows (734 MB)

You did a screen copy of the 1st part... now scroll down in http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/multi/library-functional-content-missing.html to get to part 2

Additional solution: Install the Resource Central library content

Download the extra library content

Choose your language to begin the download:

https://blogs.adobe.com/premiereprotraining/files/EncoreContentEnglish.ziphttps://blogs.adobe.com/premiereprotraining/files/EncoreContentEnglish.zip

English French German Japanese Italian Spanish Korean

Extract the Library content to the Library folder

    •
Extract the zip file that you just downloaded to create a .7z file (for example, en-US.7z).

Extract the .7z file to any convenient location (for example, the Desktop). This step creates a folder based on the language you selected.

Thanks John, I finally got the library templates working. On the iMac I replaced all the folders in the En CS6 software with the folders from the .7z file after the second extraction. You can get the "The Unarchiver" for iMac at the Apple store for free. This was not a typical download problem. Thanks again for your help.
