MOV/MP4 Compatibility

I am working with mp4 files and an MOV file. When I loaded the MOV file into a "sequence," the audio and video tracks un-synced. There was nothing wrong before.

It's possible this was simple human error, and perhaps I unsynced them accidentally. When I loaded the MOV file into the sequence, I saw the following message (see below). I can't remember what I clicked. I have also re-scaled the video.

How do I ensure that the MOV file and the MP4 file can co-exist in the same sequence, and the sound/video all look fine and synced when I go to export?

    Hi Ruths,

    When I loaded the MOV file into the sequence, I saw the following message (see below)

    You are getting this warning message because of the mismatch in sequence settings and the properties of your media files.

    Thanks for your response, but the problem isn't the sequence. It's the fact that I need to edit different file types. Still looking for an answer.
