Open Captions Look Squashed or Stretched

I've added Open Captions to my video but the text appears stretched / squashed (see pic), tried lots of things to get it looking right but not been able to fix it, not experienced this with other vidoes i've made so i'm a bit stumped! Any ideas?

Fixed it! My 'editing mode' was set to HDV1080p rather than custom, reset the frame size to 1920 x 1080 and that sorted it 🙂
